Will work in a fast-paced, environment in both indoor and outdoor environments during all types of weather. - Directs the flow of incoming vehicle traffic into both on-site and off-site parking lots
- Provides incoming vehicles direction to available parking spaces
- Directs outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic out of on-site and off-site parking lots
- Provides for the safe and efficient movement of pedestrian traffic through parking lots
- Sets up and dismantles cones and plastic/metal barricades to configure parking lots as instructed
- Opens and closes parking lot gates as directed

- May be asked to operate a motorized golf carts to transport people and/or equipment. In such case, the employee must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid California drivers license.
- Must be at least 16 years of age (at least 18 years of age with a valid CA drivers license if operating a motorized cart)
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills a must
- Ability to respond with patience in difficult interactions with fair patrons required
- Excellent teamwork skills necessary
- Must be able to quickly learn the layout of the fairgrounds and general fair information
- Must be able to work at least 18 days of the annual OC Fair
- Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
