Utah State Parks invites applications for the position of Park Ranger II-Non Post Certified to join our dedicated team at Huntington, Millsite, and Scofield State Parks. Principal Duties:

Perform various tasks including buildings and grounds maintenance, janitorial duties, and snow grooming responsibilities. Assist in managing park budgets, bill payments, hiring processes, and procurement needs. Deliver exceptional customer service by handling fee collections, camper registrations, and providing information about the parks and surrounding areas to visitors. Supervise seasonal park staff and volunteers. Contribute to the planning and execution of special events.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in parks or outdoor recreation settings is preferred. A basic understanding of facilities and grounds maintenance, or a willingness to learn essential maintenance skills such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, equipment upkeep, POS systems operation, and event planning. Comfort working in remote environments. Proficiency in general accounting and cash handling. An outgoing personality with the ability to interact positively with the public and fellow park staff. Experience in supervising subordinate employees.
