Parcel Delivery Driver

We are looking for a safe, responsible, reliable and team oriented Delivery Driver to join our team.

You MUST be reliable and show up to work every day you are scheduled and operate in the safest manner possible. If either of these two things are a challenge then this will not be a position suited for you. We operate under a strong team environment and we have to be able to rely on each team member!

We are a contractor for FedEx Ground servicing a dedicated area. You will represent our company in a safe, professional and cost-effective manner to increase our performance and customer satisfaction while adhering to all safety and procedure requirements. The job requires individuals to function in a supportive team environment, helping each other, while also being able to operate independently. This can be/is a physical job with driving, sorting, lifting, and moving small to bulky and heavy items. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a large delivery vehicle in a safe manner, accidents are not acceptable in our line of work. Safety is our most important priority
• Must have a flexible schedule and able to work weekends.
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, clean, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Conduct oneself in a positive, professional way while taking pride in your quality of work performed
• Support team members as needed
• Complete and remain in compliance with all safety and training requirements
• Complete logs, reports, and inspections
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver with a minimum of 1 year experience (most commercial/business experience qualifies)
• Valid and active driver’s license with chauffeur license
• Ability to independently lift/move 150lb. items
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles ranging in length of 16' to 28'
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• High school degree
• Available and Reliable for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
