```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Specialist to join our team. As a Program Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing various programs and initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Full time position: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday; 8am-4pm; $20.00/hr; Medical Stipend available after 6 months successful employment
● As directed by the Program Director, assists in the efforts to successfully maintain participants at Great Prospects, Inc. as determined by parents, the Board and waiver requests
● Works with small groups of participants to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced by Program Director
● Maintains monthly ISP notes for any assigned participants–plans activities to help participants reach their ISP goals
● Assists the Program Director in devising special strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on sympathetic understanding of individual participants’ needs, interests and abilities
● Serves as the chief source of information and help for substitute staff assigned in the absence of the Program Director
● Alerts the Program Director to any problem or special information about an individual or family
● Performs non-instructional duties such as lunch time and toileting routines
● When requested, serves as a resource person to the Board of Directors, CEO, Director, and Program Director
● Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about participants in Great Prospects
● Maintains a safe working environment
● Other duties as assigned by the CEO, Director and Program Director
