Full-time Remote Family Law Paralegal

Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of legal documents for Family Law cases, including petitions, pleadings, motions, affidavits, modifications, financial statements, and discovery requests.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and assist in case preparation.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files, efficiently organizing and managing documents.
- Collaborate with clients and legal professionals to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to Family Law in various states.
- Foster teamwork by collaborating with the team to develop case strategies and ensure smooth case progression.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Requirements:
- Legal Document Assistant (required)
- Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited paralegal program.
- 7-10 years of proven experience as a Family Law Paralegal (required)
- Extensive knowledge of all Family Law issues.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and document preparation specific to Family Law cases.
- Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in interactions with clients and legal professionals.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
