Full-time Remote Family Law Paralegal

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide range of legal documents for Family Law cases, including petitions, pleadings, motions, affidavits, modifications, financial statements, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and assist in case preparation.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files, efficiently organizing and managing documents.
• Collaborate with clients and legal professionals to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to Family Law in various states.
• Foster teamwork by collaborating with the team to develop case strategies and ensure smooth case progression.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Requirements:

• Legal Document Assistant (required)
• Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited paralegal program.
• 7-10 years of proven experience as a Family Law Paralegal (required)
• Extensive knowledge of all Family Law issues.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and document preparation specific to Family Law cases.
• Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in interactions with clients and legal professionals.
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Discretion and respect for confidentiality.

Compensation is paid on a per-case basis. We have an abundance of business, more than you can handle. Yearly compensation is well over the average paralegal salary. With the added bonus of working remotely!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
