Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing curriculum and lesson plans
- Provide support to students with behavior management and classroom management
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with individual student needs, including personal care and hygiene
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement appropriate strategies for student success
- Support students in their literacy and math development
- Assist with organizing and maintaining classroom materials and resources
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
