Karat® by Lollicup™ is currently seeking Slitting /Punch Press Operator to join our team in Rockwall, TX. We are looking for someone who is energized and inspired by the possibility of being part of this exciting opportunity!
Job Description:
- Set up and configure slitting and Punch Press machinery according to specific job requirements and engineering specifications.
- Load paper and plastic rolls or sheets onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and feeding mechanisms.
- Operate the machinery to slit, punch, or cut paper and plastic components with precision and accuracy.
- Monitor the production process closely, conducting frequent inspections to ensure components meet quality standards and dimensional specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to achieve consistent and accurate output.
- Perform routine maintenance (PMS) tasks on the machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and changing blades or cutting tools.
- Handle paper and plastic rolls, sheets, and finished components safely and efficiently, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- Organize and store raw materials and finished products to prevent damage and maximize efficiency.
- Accurately record production data, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any quality-related observations.

- Follow company policies related to workplace safety, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a production environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Basic understanding of machinery operation and production processes.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Work Schedule/ Hours:
This is a 2nd shift position from 2pm - 10:30pm Monday to Friday with potential overtime on weekends and afterhours. Schedule may change according to department needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
