Job Description
Summary: In need of Panel Wiring Technicians experienced in assembly, wiring, and quality assurance of electrical panels.
Requirements:
Knowledge of UL 508A and UL 698A standards and requirements.
Ability to review shop orders and engineering drawings for issues and proper components.
Capability to identify assembly and wiring issues, with the ability to propose resolutions.
Proficiency in operating a variety of hand and power tools typical to Panel Building activities.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
Proficiency in wiring components and equipment consistent with UL standards.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in layout and assembly of panels with required components.
Experience in drilling, tapping, riveting activities as required.
Experience following Schematics and Panel Layouts meeting customer and company wiring assembly standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality assurance testing on completed assemblies.
Follow Arc-Flash safety procedures for high voltage power testing.
Perform all crimping, lugging activities according to standards.
Complete wiring in a neat orderly fashion to Enhanced Automation Standards.
Regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift/move over 50 pounds.
- Mount, Label, Wire, Bend Reach Assemble in standing or sitting positions as required.
- Follow Point-to-point wiring does not meet this requirement.
- Maintain all required paperwork records documents etc.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
