Painter/ Sheet Rock

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and expertise in painting techniques will contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of our projects.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Use power tools and equipment to remove old paint or wallpaper
- Restore and renovate surfaces as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters or masons to ensure smooth project execution
- Install fixtures and perform minor repairs if necessary
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
- Proficiency in various painting techniques including plastering, concrete finishing, and masonry work
- Knowledge of color mixing and matching
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in painting
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
