Responsibilities:
- Perform construction painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and applying paint or coatings
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete painting and other related tasks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and working in various environments
- Assist with basic math calculations for measuring and mixing paint or coatings
- Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials and equipment as needed
- Apply auto painting techniques for specific projects or requirements
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction painting or related field preferred
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and other equipment commonly used in painting tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Knowledge of auto painting techniques is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and physical demands
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
