As a Paint Processor – SC, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, monitor and operate filling and packaging equipment
- Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning filling lines
- Ability to understand instructions for proper filling requirements
- Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
- Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards
- Maintain and improve production line efficiency standards through teamwork
- Produce quality product in the required time frame
- Perform initial draw-down for color and cleanliness
- Perform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling, and coding
- Perform proper cleaning of filling equipment
- Ability to lift cases and pails of products and load onto filling line as necessary
- Complete daily records as required
- Assist in training other employees
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and record progress
- Ability to work safely
- Must be available to work overtime and some Saturdays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hoists, scales, and other equipment
- Wearing protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats and other PPE as required
