Worker Power's mission is to empower and engage the working class and encouraging civic engagement, educate the community on relevant public policies, to facilitate the creation of an equitable society and inclusive democracy. Engaging working families in Arizona is crucial to voting progressive in the 2024 election and beyond. As a growing demographic, continued outreach is key to ensuring the working class has a voice in shaping the trajectory of our state’s politics.
Connecting with voters personally is the most effective way to ensure they support our movement towards social equity. We start this process by registering voters either door to door, or at high foot traffic areas. As a canvasser, you will engage potential voters on issues that align with Worker Power's progressive values, and invite them to join our fight by registering to vote, or updating their registration so they are eligible to vote in the 2024 elections.

Responsibilities
- Travel around the Tucson Metro area
- Talk to potential voters.
- Track your voter engagement
- Report your numbers and communicate with you lead each day
Our current canvass schedule is as follows (all times are subject to change):
- Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 qm - 4 pm
- Canvassers are expected to work all five shifts.
Terms of Employment
- The Community Canvasser position is a part-time (30 hours per week) position (full-time opportunities may become available).
- Pay begins at $22/hr, plus a driving stipend of $20 per day
- The Community Canvasser position is available now until November 5, 2024. Canvassers with interest and demonstrated capacity will also have the opportunity for promotion to leadership positions on our canvass team.
