POSITION TITLE:

PACU Supervisor RN

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, this role assumes administrative and clinical responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in their designated units. This position coordinates the daily operations of PACU including patient scheduling, employee staffing, communication, and timely patient flow. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. In the Administrator's absence, maintains charge of the department and reports to the Clinical Director. Because dynamics of the department can change at any time, duties and schedules can change without prior notice.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current State RN License required
• Two years PACU experience required
• Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory role - i.e. Charge Nurse, Team Lead, Manager etc.
