We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PACU RN to join our team. The PACU RN will be responsible for providing care to patients who are recovering from surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' condition and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients for signs of complications and report any changes to the physician
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
- ACLS and PALS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
