What's a Packing Slip Expeditor?
As a vital part of our team, in the role of a Packing Slip Expeditor your primary responsibility is to facilitate the smooth and efficient flow of orders through our pick-and-pass process. Here's what the role entails:
Order Expedition: Guide orders through the entire pick-and-pass process, ensuring a timely and accurate movement from the moment they are printed to their scanning on the pack belt.
Zone-to-Zone Cart Transportation: Utilize a cart to transport totes of orders from one zone to another, based on the items that need to be picked.
Workflow Pace Setter: Take the lead in setting the pace of the workflow for pickers across all zones in the warehouse. Ensure a harmonized and efficient working environment.
Tote Management: Accurately combine multiple totes of an order, guaranteeing that all items are picked when scanned to the pack belt.
Tote Recycling: Responsible for the recycling process of empty totes from the pack area back to the packing list station.
