Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Packing Operator - 2nd Shift.
The hours for this role are 3 pm to 11:30 pm
The expected annual salary range for this role is $17.00 an hour

What you’ll do:
Primary Job Function
Responsible for inspecting and packing of hoses. Removes defective products. Maintain records and the manufacturing/production area to comply with regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures. Timely and accurately complete computer transactions.
The operator will be required to learn how to pack in at least 2 of the cells below:
- OMA240
- OMA140
- MR11
- Specialty
- Crane
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Inspect and measure dimensions of tubes to verify conformance to specifications using appropriate measuring tools
- Assemble boxes.
- Cut hose ends and defects.
- Make labels for hose and boxes.
- Cut and submit samples to Quality Lab according to instructions given in a timely manner.
- Proof test hoses
- Record footage of each coil and place in box accurately.
- Perform duties relative to production in the assigned area and is able to operate all equipment and machinery in the assigned area
- Review work orders, specifications or instructions to determine material, ingredients, procedures, components and settings
- Accurately complete computer transactions as necessary (labor & scrap transactions, inventory disbursements & cycle counts, expense items, etc.).
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- High School Diploma
Preferred
- 6 months of Manufacturing experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate experience in computer transactions
- Good problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making skills.
- Good interpersonal skills/teaming ability
- Ability to learn and successfully operate production equipment
