Entry Wage Range: $16.50 to $17 per hour + shift differential
Reports to: Production Manager
2nd SHIFT: Monday through Thursday, 12:30pm to 11:30pm (3 day weekend!)
As a Packing Operation, your role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet high-quality standards. You'll be hands-on in finalizing products to guarantee top-notch results.
What you'll be doing:
Your tasks will involve following instructions from supervisors, understanding customer orders and drawings, and meticulously finishing products as per specifications. This includes sorting, labeling, and packaging items according to customer requirements. All while maintaining a clean, quality and safe environment.
What you'll need to do this job:
We're seeking someone who can read instructions & communicate well in English. Adhering to safety guidelines is key! Being detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior experience in a manufacturing setting would be helpful. Basic computer knowledge is useful, but don't worry - we'll provide on-the-job training for anything you don't know!
Other important items you should know:
The job will require extended periods of standing while performing repetitive tasks. You should be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Manual dexterity for sorting, labeling, and packaging is essential, and color differentiation skills are necessary for handling printed materials. Additionally, be prepared for a moderately noisy factory environment.
Accommodations can be made for certain workplace environmental factors that could be a trigger for some individuals such as noise-canceling headphones and earplugs; face masks or respirators for materials with strong odors, or glasses that diffuse the light when not working on color sensitive jobs. We encourage any individual who requires accommodations to speak with the manager and HR regarding their unique needs.
