At the direction of the Laboratory Director, the Packaging/Production Technician is responsible for assisting in the manufacture and production of medical marijuana products. The Packaging/Production Technician is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory-related processes such as SOPs and safety to meet the business needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure attainment of efficiency goals.
- Primary duties will be to Package and Label Finished Goods that will be marked for delivery.
- Secondary duties will be to help in the Production and Development of Finished Goods.
- Produce reliable and precise data for completion of all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory and state mandated documentation.
- Accurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
- Ensure the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.
- Complete orders as directed by management within established time frame(s).
At a minimum, here’s what you need:
- Education or Equivalent: A high school diploma is required. Prior laboratory experience is preferred, though not required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Positive attitude & Self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting and or walking for extended periods of time.
- Background Check Requirement As a condition of employment, a complete state and federal background investigation will be required. Individuals that have been convicted of a criminal offense related to the sale or possession of illegal drugs, narcotics or controlled substances may not hold a position with Dark Horse Medicinals, LLC.

Pay: $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
