As a Full Sail Packaging Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Packaging Specialists and coordinating the daily activities of the department including canning, bottling and kegging.
Build solid team cohesion and accountability through the ability to listen and coach.
Lead by positive example, and act with integrity.
You will help ensure the daily execution of the production schedule, maintain a safe and organized work environment and proactively set the next shift up for success.
Ensure all SOPs and Safety policies are up to date, understood and followed.
Ensure the team is executing their job duties, progressively learn to operate all Packaging equipment at target speeds and complete CIP duties. Troubleshoot when required.
Train and develop employees to progress in skill and efficiency.
This position requires an ability to communicate well and share relevant information in a timely manner across departments – planning, maintenance, brewing, human resources. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily shift reports, data entry and QA logs.
Be a team player, support all areas of the business, communicate proactively.
Use computers to record information (Microsoft – Excel, Outlook, and ERP system).
We are currently hiring a Packaging Supervisor for the weekend day shift, which is a 4x 10hr weekly schedule. Mon – Thurs, 6am – 4:30pm. Supervisors typically come in a little early to prepare for the shift and are available for occasional meetings throughout the week.
QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:
2+ years of related experience (preferably in beverage or food manufacturing)
Experience supervising a team of employees.
Knowledgeable of safety and injury prevention protocols.
Familiar with Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook), comfortable entering data into a computer.
Experience working with an ERP is a plus.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize, delegate and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and leadership skills, able to motivate and develop a team.
Fast paced and constantly changing work environment.
Subject to extreme temperatures.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders throughout shift.
Ability to stand/move for 10-12 hours per day with frequent reaching, bending, twisting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses and safety reinforced toe boots (as required by company policy).
