Label Printing Supervisor

Leading flexographic Label Printing company north of Boston is busy. The company is searching to hire a Print Production Supervisor to oversee day shift pressroom operations.
Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling, staffing, and proper machine operations.
• Provide training and leadership to the pressroom personnel to increase knowledge and abilities.
• Staff flexographic presses to obtain optimum efficiencies.
• Assess workflows and make recommendations to improve as needed.
• Lead all continuous improvement practices in flexographic press operations.
• Take part in research and selection of new production equipment and methods.
• Recommend and issue work orders for equipment maintenance, repairs, parts and supplies.
• Take part in daily production meetings and provide back-up support for off shifts and voids in supervision schedule.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 3- 5 years leadership experience in narrow web flexographic printing operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of flexographic printing. UV experience a plus.
• Proven track record using continuous improvement practices to improve processes and workflows in flexographic printing operations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Effective time management skills able to meet tight deadlines in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable on the manufacturing floor.
• Team building experience.

Starting base salary $90,000 - $110,000 + benefit's, 401k match and relocation assistance.
