Packaging Associate

Scope

• Must perform the manufacturing processes: Operate Gallon/Filling Machine. Must be able read & understand work orders, follow GMP, follow company SOP’s.
• Filling Machine Operator: Precheck product is ready to be packed prior to starting machine. Must ensure packaging material is correct– bottles, boxes, labels are available.
• Understand and able to turn machine on, pass empty containers via labeling machine, adjust filling machine as needed.
• Able to complete packaging tickets with all correct information in English.
• Control station where bottles are labeled: labelling empty containers, does require to stand during shift.
• Duties range from receiving and handling the materials though other processes, to packaging the final product.
• Preferred, but not requited to be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, & electric pallet jacks.
• During all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are required.
• Full Time Position: Monday through Friday. Shift 7:30AM – 3:30PM.
• Heavy lifting involved must be able to lift from 2lbs to maximum 50 lbs.

Required Skills

• Highly dependable, reliable, has a sense of urgency, and keen attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to have visibility on equipment when a repair may be needed.
• Must have 1 year experience working in a warehouse.
• Able to read, write, and speak English. Bi-lingual of Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of chemicals and Mechanical background is a plus, however, it is not required.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Self-Motivated with a high level of personal accountability.

Salary: $15.13 per hour
