Nordson EFD designs and manufactures precision fluid dispensing systems and components for manufacturers and other end users in a wide range of market segments including Automotive, Electronics, Life Science, Animal Health, and Construction. Our desktop dispensing equipment and components are trusted for applying controlled amounts of adhesives and other assembly fluids worldwide.
We are looking for a Packaging Associate, Lead to join our team and help support our manufacturing and shipping departments. Under general supervision, the Packaging Associate Lead inspects, assembles, and packages consumable accessories into designated bags and boxes utilizing counting scales, box taping machines, labeling machines and other specialized jigs, packaging, and auto-bagging equipment.
Shifts available (Shift premium available to off shifts, including weekend shifts):
* 1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm
How YOU will make an impact:
* Using established quality and time standards, package materials according to pre-set instructions
* Perform quality checks on raw parts and packages and remove any defective items
* Move products from packaging area to assigned locations within our warehouse
* Be willing to cross train in other areas and perform in those areas when needed
Qualifications to be successful:
* High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
* You are detail oriented. A self-starter with strong organizational and motivational skills
* A team player, with a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety
