We are currently seeking a full-time Pre-Release Case Manager in Richmond, VA. For our new center that provides support and assistance to incarcerated individuals from pre-release to post-release with our proven program to help them succeed. Job Duties:
- Conducting impactful 1:1 sessions, developing a trusting relationship with and comprehensive understanding of every participant on caseload?
- Preparing logistics to obtain necessary documents such as Social Security card, Birth Certificates, or state ID upon release
- Reviewing the Participant Handbook to prepare for post-release programming
- Documenting sessions in electronic record system, including noteworthy participant interactions and flagging participant needs
- Working collaboratively with the Community and Life Skills team, pre-release career coach, and pre-release therapist assigned to each participant, providing input on progress to ensure consistency in instruction/learning pre-to-post release and alignment with participants’ goals

Requirements:
Required education, licensure, and experience:?
- Bachelor’s degree in social service related field (social work, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, sociology, or similar)
- 1-3 years of experience implementing case management services and documenting interactions
- Driver’s license?
- Ability to pass DOC security clearance?
- CPR / Adult First Aid certification preferred
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
