The opportunity
Teva Pharmaceuticals, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Package Operator to join our team in Edison, NJ. As a Package Operator, you will play a crucial role in the packaging operations of our FDA regulated facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to quality and safety. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:10PM.

As a Package Operator, you will play a crucial role in the packaging operations of our FDA regulated facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to quality and safety. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:10PM.
How you'll spend your day
- Operate packaging equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Package pharmaceutical products in compliance with FDA regulations and company standards.
- Perform visual inspections of packaged products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Monitor and adjust packaging machines to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist in the setup and changeover of packaging equipment for different products.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety hazards or incidents.
Your experience and qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an FDA regulated packaging environment desired.
- Previous experience in solid dose packaging is preferred.
- Experience with serialization and aggregation systems is a plus.
- Ability to stand for up to 8.0 hours regularly.
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or crouch frequently.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Strong English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
