PACK ROOM OPERATIVE - THE ROLE:

This position is responsible for carrying out secondary activities in the packaging room in accordance with the instructions of the Pack Room Lead and Head of Operations. This role is central to the company and will work closely with the warehouse team and operational staff.

As Packaging Room Associate/Operative your main responsibilities will include:

• Inspect blister strips, blister cards, foil pouches, bottles and vials for damage or defects.
• The assembly, inspection, and manual application of labels at all product storage temperatures.
• Operate semi-automated packaging equipment in secondary packaging rooms.
• Complete minor and major cleaning in secondary packaging rooms including any equipment.
• Ensuring each batch product, labels and packaging components are correct and counted in accordance with batch record activity.
• Complete minor and major cleaning in packaging rooms, including equipment.
• Work directly with representatives from Operations and Quality Assurance to resolve any discrepancies or to gain clarification.

PACK ROOM OPERATIVE - ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• High School diploma
• Experience of working with MS Office Word, Outlook and Teams
• Knowledge of USA cGMPs and GDP.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Able to easily deal with changing priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Be able to learn, understand, and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in the field of secondary packaging labelling for clinical trials, would be an advantage but not necessary.

PACK ROOM OPERATIVE - WORK CONDITIONS:

• Gowning in packaging rooms.
• Handling of bulk drug product.
• Some physical lifting may be required.
• Participation in in-person training sessions, presentations, projects and meetings.
