Description
PACE Quality Compliance Coordinator
Location: Lexington, KY
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
As a BCN Bluegrass PACE Care team member, you will be a part of a program providing all-inclusive healthcare that keeps Kentuckians aged 55+, who may otherwise need nursing home care, living safely at home. Our PACE experts work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to decide what's best for each PACE participant, bringing all aspects of medical and personal care, plus social and support services. About the role:
The Program for All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) Quality Compliance Coordinator develops, implements, and monitors the PACE Quality Improvement (QI) plan. The PACE Quality Compliance Coordinator ensures that PACE data is collected from all appropriate sources; and the data is analyzed, and the results are reported to external entities as required and shared with internal and external stakeholders. The PACE Quality Compliance Coordinator is responsible for compliance with PACE state and federal regulations and standards of practice, ensuring compliance by facilitating planned and ad hoc auditing and monitoring activities tracking and trending results; and facilitating action plans as necessary based on any gaps identified during the auditing process. The PACE Quality Compliance Coordinator oversees the process to evaluate and resolve medical and non-medical grievances by participants, their family members, or representatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; health-related field preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience in Quality, Patient Safety, Compliance, and/or Appeals activities in a health-related work environment.
  • Must have at least one year of experience working with the frail and elderly.
  • Food handling permit required, to be completed upon hire.
  • Knowledge of clinical aspects of participant care, quality principles and compliance standards.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, reports, proposed rules, and Internet web sites.
  • Demonstrated skill in performance which includes expertise with written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge and experience with data entry, statistical tools such as excel spreadsheets, graphs, displays and workflow design.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical analysis, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects/assignments and to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Process excellent analytical facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail orientated, dependable, creative, self-directed, diplomatic, with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Ability to work with a variety of groups in a team environment.
  • Ability to prepare and present compliance data to various teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
  • Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
  • Must be a licensed driver with automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Bluegrass Care Navigators' requirements and is in good working order.
  • Must comply with requirements of other facilities (hospitals, LTC facilities, etc.) related to flu or other vaccines if job duties require providing services in those facilities.

Salary Description
$64,119-$85,492 per year
