Role: Responsible for deep cleaning and maintenance of all concrete floors surfaces inside, outside and back of the house areas and to perform job responsibilities satisfactory and according to department standards. Adheres to all company, safety and department policies and procedures. Foster teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott core Values.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be literate and able to communicate in English with staff and Guests.
• A good eye for detail
• Good self-time management skills and ability to prioritize projects.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

Lobbies and Common Area:

• Clean and sanitize all glass doors, handle doors, ADA bars, chairs, handrails, tables, and counters in Public Areas
• Clean fingerprints, dirty and/or smudges on doors, glass, tables, and counters as often as need it.
• Vacuum all carpets and remove carpet spots, perform extraction or spin bonnet as need it.
• High and low dusting projects, detailing all furniture.
• Deep cleaning of front and heart of the house restrooms
• Dust mop and damp mop all tile flooring, always using caution signs to prevent any guest or associate injury.
• Stripping, sealing and finishing all tile, wood, and hard floors.
• Clean and sanitize all 6 guest elevators as well as the 2 employee elevators (including elevator tracks)
• Empty all trashcans, clean trash can and replace plastic bag through all property.
• Report needed maintenance and safety hazard in assigned area to lead or supervisor.
• Filling and returning all chemicals, supplies and equipment to the proper storage area at the end of the project of shift.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in working order.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by lead or supervisor.
• Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

Grounds, Spa, Pool and Common Area:

Clean and sweep the pathways, pool bar, pool restrooms, pool deck, Ceres patio, Parian patio.

• Clean and sanitize pool/spa restrooms, stools, toilets, doors, floors and showers.
• Clean and sanitize waiting room, showers, toilets, sinks, sauna and steam room and Jacuzzi.
• Clean and sanitize fitness room (equipment, restrooms, furniture, pictures, etc.).
• Replenish restrooms, showers and fitness room supplies as needed, including towels, toilet paper, tissue, hand soap, personal product dispenser etc.
• Clean and empty the trashcans at pool, cabanas, pool deck, Jacuzzi, guest valet at both lobbies.
• Power wash pathways, cabanas, patios and all pool furniture
• Vacuum all carpets as need it and extract or spin bonnet.
• Stripping, sealing and finishing all tile, wood, and hard floors.
• Polish the Valencia escalator and check all stair ways.
• Clean and sanitize furniture, floors, and all guest areas at the different restaurants.
• Follows the appropriate cleaning and disposal of Biohazard and/or Blood borne pathogens, following the OSHA regulations.
• Report and/or address all maintenance issues or a safety hazard as appropriate.

Restrooms:

Clean and sanitize all restrooms areas in the Hotel including but not limited to the following:

• Toilets, rim, base, bowl, seat, lid, hinges, pipes, tank, sink, pipes under sink, Urinals (when applicable)
• Floors sweep when needed and mop twice of day during the shift.
• Stalls, sides, fixtures, doors, door handles, hinges.
• All furniture, walls, artwork
• Mirrors, Doorway, door, threshold, handle, door jam
• Polish metals
• Dust high items, vents.
• Replenish restroom supplies as needed, including paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, hand soap, personal product dispenser etc.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace trash bags.
• Stripping, sealing and finishing all tile, wood, and hard floors.
• Maintain restrooms sweep log.
• Ensure all supply closets are clean and organize.
