POSITION SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, you will assist in conducting in-person and telephonic re-contacts of Sources and Subjects on investigations for quality assurance reasons, conduct complaint investigation and propose resolutions and assist with integrity/misconduct investigations as assigned and directed. You will assist as needed with the monthly re-contact requirements under a strict Quality Control Contact Program for the DHS contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in conducting research, audits, and investigative duties as needed for compliant investigations and proposed resolution.
Helps track and audit performance by conducting re-contacts with sources and/or subjects previously interviewed by and investigator.
Complete assigned integrity/misconduct investigations in a timely manner including re-interviews of subjects and sources, summaries of findings, and reporting/transmitting findings.
Counsel field investigators on note-taking, professionalism and quality.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
*Must be a current DCSA Credentialed Investigator with 12 months of consecutive experience and must be willing to travel (TDY) approximately 10%*
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 12 consecutive months of previous DCSA experience as an investigator.
Must have a current Favorable SSBI.
Must currently hold DCSA Investigator credentials.
Must be willing to travel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment.
Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.
Requires use of office software and communication systems such as email and federal client computer systems.
Some travel may be required.
