Overnight Warehouse Associate

With the ultimate goal of superior customer service in mind, it is the responsibilities of our warehouse employees and drivers to keep the warehouse operating in a clean and efficient manner at all times. When dealing with customers, in the warehouse or out in the trade, always remember that they are to be approached in a professional and courteous manner. They (the customers) are what makes our company grow and continue.

• Follow directions and instructions given by your supervisor.
• Adhere to ALL company policies in particular the policy relating to drivers.

Overnight Shift
Hours 12:00am – 8:00am (or as assigned)

• Be prepared to work at the appointed start time
• Have a clean, neat appearance and wear the Linford shirts and coats.

Qualifications:

• Required to lift large amounts of heavy product
• Have no points on driving records.
• Legible handwriting
• Ability to count and multiply in head
• Good command of the English language
• Neat appearance
• Drug testing is required. Random checking will occur.
• Be able to get along with fellow workers and customers
• In general, be able to maintain a good attitude

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Checking in freight using vendors ship list, bill of ladings or purchase orders. Make notes of any discrepancies.
• Put freight away accurately
• Assisting with counting inventory
• Pulling orders accurately
• Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, putting things away and cleaning floors.

Keep in mind that when dealing with the customers that usually the last person they see will be the person delivering their product. This will be their final impression of the service from Linford of Alaska. It is very important that it is a good impression, if not they may not call us the next time.

Other duties may be assigned from time to time; be prepared to assist or take on other jobs as it requires to successfully fulfill the goal of this job and company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
