Overnight Lab Technician

Quality Assurance Technician - Food and Beverage IndustryJob Description:

• This role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in our warehouse and production areas.
• You will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the rigorous specifications set forth in our SAP system and adhere to quality and food safety standards.
• Responsibilities include conducting thorough analysis on raw materials, syrup batches, and treated water, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with various departments to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Your expertise will also be key in starting up production lines, conducting flavor changes, and evaluating finished products.
• Moreover, your role will encompass maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and providing support through various additional tasks.

Hard Skills:

• Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory practices
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting abilities
• Root cause analysis
• Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Quality, or related discipline
• Knowledge of quality systems (GMP, HACCP, SQF) - certification ideal

Work Environment:

The position is based in a Lab/Manufacturing setting and requires continuous standing or walking. Expect a repetitive work environment with a regular need to give moderate attention to tasks. Mental stress can occur due to deadlines, production quotas, and accuracy demands.
