Overnight Houseperson

We are actively seeking an ambitious and passionate professional to join our team as an Overnight Houseperson in Asheville, NC, US. The ideal candidate must have an eagle eye for detail and the enthusiasm to deliver exceptional customer service. Job duties include ensuring the cleanliness and attractiveness of public spaces such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies; providing amenities, beds, cribs, and bedding when needed; and perform any special projects as commanded by housekeeping managers. Responsibilities:

• Transport clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms and replenish linen supplies on each floor
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens
• Walk all assigned floors at the beginning of the shift and collect trash, soiled linen, and other items per management requests
• Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces
• Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs

Qualifications:

• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• We prefer that you have 1 or more years of experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in the hospitality field
