SalaryJob Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Duties:
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including manual transmission cars, box trucks, refrigerated trailers, and vans
- Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery updates or changes
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
