Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and fulfilling special orders
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards and practices
- Experience in food production, preferably in a bakery or culinary setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients
- Basic cooking skills for food preparation when necessary
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
