Over The Road Truck Driver

Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced and reliable Over the Road Truck Drivers to join our team. As an Over the Road Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials long distances across different states and regions. This is a critical role in our organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.

Duties:
- deliver goods and materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or other commercial vehicles
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving
- Perform routine inspections of the truck and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery details

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Over the Road Truck Driver
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading activities and long hours on the Road
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
