Children's Square is seeking Over NightYouth Support Specialists (Full and Part-time opportunities available) for our Emergency Shelter and/or Residential Treatment. Mental Health Services are among the fastest-growing fields in the U.S. We are seeking fun, energetic individuals who can provide care and mental health guidance for children and adolescents living on the Children’s Square USA campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of children living on campus.
• Plan and lead life-skills sessions for youth.
• Follow and implement each youth’s treatment plan.
• Assist other staff in providing ongoing supervision, relationship building, coaching, and support to the youth in your assigned area.
• Provide clear documentation, communication, and monitoring of youth in an assigned service area.

Position Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Higher starting pay for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a passion for helping youth in crisis.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Must be able to pass criminal history, child abuse, and sex offender checks and complete a physical and TB test.
