Cart Attendant/Outside Services employees are responsible to provide optimal customer service, perform multiple tasks in the cart barn, driving range and assisting with course operations
Functions:
- Maintain a friendly appearance.
- Ensure clothing is clean and in good condition. Overall appearance needs to meet all dress code guidelines.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Keep supervisors informed of all problems and unusual matters of significance.
- Service the driving range by picking up and cleaning range balls, collect baskets from the range, keep a clean and well organized area around the ball machine.
- Stage carts, clean carts and maintain a clean cart barn wok area
- Communicate with co-workers
- Perform starter duties when needed
- When needed perform marshal duties to assist the golf shop in course management
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles
Qualifications:
- 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Good decision making and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Present a positive and professional image
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Reliable and predictable attendance
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50lbs occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
- The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including high temperatures. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually quiet.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.55 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
Experience:
- Golf: 1 year (Preferred)
