Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to take responsibility for growing our local business region in southwest Oregon. This territory will cover a large portion of western, southern, and central Oregon, and will require some overnight travel.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the overall relationship and management of day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in his/her territory. You will engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in peron and virtually, ultimately serving as a trusted business advisor towards our customers.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in Outside Sales, ideally to businesses related to cabinetry or building materials, millwork, closets, or interior design
- Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth
- Highly motivated, able to self-direct and manage your own time and responsibilities and to prioritize, organize and plan effectively
- Able to learn and proficiently use our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program to track daily activitiy, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks
- As this position requires regular auto travel, you must have independent, reliable transportation
- May require occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Total compensation is uncapped and includes base salary, uncapped monthly commissions, and bonuses
