Summary Our client is a growing mid-sized candy company, with a national footprint, looking for their nextOutside Sales Representative – East Coast and West Coast Openings - US will be divided equally
Position Overview
Focusing on the Hispanic market, the Outside Sales Rep – will calls on independent Hispanic stores (bodegas) to sell our products, present and get new items authorized, sell in promos, some merchandising. Follows our monthly priorities from the business managers for each client. Enter turnover orders for all stores visited so they can be forwarded to our distributors to be delivered.
Responsibilities

• Visit the assigned stores in the territory
• Present new items for our clients and secure orders
• Present promotional activity to store buyers and secure orders and if possible off shelf displays.
• Plan ahead with buyers for up to three months on promos.
• Access distribution on existing items to be sure they are being carried.
• Assist in any merchandising needed for our products.
• Enter the orders taken into our “turnover order system” and transmit to the office for delivery of the product by the distributors.
• Maintain current knowledge of products as well as new products
• Maintain a rapport with regional managers of our clients.
• Keep all informed of issues with stores, competitive activity, trends etc.
• Perform such duties as checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram.
• Must be able to read, write and negotiate contracts in Spanish.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• Must be bilingual with fluency in Spanish and English (Written and Verbal
• 5 +years of retail Selling/Promo experience is required to Stores (CPG products)- Field sales
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean criminal record
• Must be available for overnight travel
• Must be available for weekend work for Food Shows
• Must be bilingual with fluency in Spanish and English (Written and Verbal

Compensation
Base salary of $90k-$100K + commission ( waiting for “at plan” amount) plus health benefits, PTO, up to 10 days VTO (Vacation) Accrued time off, plus up to 14 paid holidays. Plus, expenses (more info on Car allowance or company car to come)
