OUTSIDE SALES POSITION AS AN INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVE IN THE MATERIAL HANDLING INDUSTRY

Divine Industrial Sales is a 4-person rep agency serving the Upper Midwest in the Material Handling and Power Transmission industries. We are seeking an Outside Sales person to service a designated territory that includes NW Iowa, South Dakota and SW Minnesota (including the Twin Cities). We strive to be problem solvers for our customers in and around a conveyor, by offering solutions using the products we represent; bearings, rollers, gear boxes, belting, plastic components, and much more.
Major Job Functions:
- Travel required; typically 4-6 overnights/month in the territory depending on home office location
- Understand Power Transmission/Material Handling products and industries
- Utilize company CRM software and keep it updated on a weekly basis
- Follow up on quotes and projects
- Articulate technical features and benefits of the products we represent (and why they are superior to the competition in the market
- Collaborate and support the other members of our team
- Be responsive to customers' needs; 24-hour customer response required
Selection Criteria
- Power Transmission/ Material Handling industry experience
- Ability to work remotely. Have a dedicated office space at home.
- Organized and forward thinking
- Lives within the geographical sales territory of this position
- Willing to travel. Must have a vehicle to travel.
- Collaborative
- Interested in being part of a faith-based culture
Compensation
- First year is salary + expenses. Salary will depend on experience and industry experience.
- Commission based sales after the first year with no cap for earning potential
