Job Details:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Permanent Outside Sales Representative to join our thriving manufacturing company. As an integral part of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our manufactured products to potential clients, developing and implementing sales plans, and achieving sales goals. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with engineers to promote and sell our manufactured products to potential clients.
2. Achieve and exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.
3. Conduct in-person or virtual sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our products.
4. Develop, implement, and manage sales plans to achieve company sales objectives.
5. Recommend new products or improvements to current products based on market research and customer feedback.
6. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
7. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
8. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, including activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals.
9. Address and resolve client concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an Outside Sales role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
3. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work closely with engineers to promote products.
4. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to conduct in-person or virtual sales presentations.
5. Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
7. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a persistent drive to succeed.
8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
