The Outside Sales Rep in the flooring industry is a key contributor to the sales team, responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with professional clients, driving sales growth, and providing expert guidance on flooring products. This role demands a deep understanding of the flooring industry, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of professional clients.      

This position pays base PLUS uncappedcommission (unlimited earning potential)      

About You

  • You are a sales experienced administrator looking for your next challenge. You can manage the day-to-day operations of a showroom and the administrative duties involved.      
  • You have a proactive approach when it comes to engaging with customers during key points of a quote to make sure they are satisfied.      
  • You are hungry to grow your clientele while maintaining the quality in your work and the company.       
Essential Functions
(What you would be in charge of)
  • You will activate and maintain strong relationships with architects, General contractors, builders, Property Management, and other industry professionals.      
  • You will develop an in-depth understanding of the company's flooring product lines and stay updated in the industry trends and advancements.      
  • You will provide expert advice and recommendations to professional clients based on their project requirements.
  • You will develop client base to drive sales goals and have action plans. Measure, track, and analyze sales performance by account. Create KPI’s to build sales agenda.      
  • You will actively pursue and acquire new professional clients within the target market.
  • You will ensure extreme attention to detail in all aspects of estimation, and orders. Conduct thorough reviews of project requirements to mitigate errors.      
  • You will be proactive in identifying potential challenges and proposing solutions. Build strong relations with your clients, to earn the respect of repeat business.

  • You have been in a sales role before and are looking for your next challenge      
  • You thrive on growing the business and making your mark on every project you touch.       
  • You value customer service and understand what it means to “Say Yes” to the customer      
  • You are not afraid of challenges and adapt to changes in processes. You understand needs change and can change the course of negatively impacting issues.      
  • Problem solving is something you call yourself a pro at

  • You understand and know what it means when people say “Teamwork makes the dream work”. Being on call after hours is no issue, and understand it is needed as defined by the role      
  • You work well with executive management and know when to ask for help      
  • You excel in providing great customer service and want your team to do the same
