Purpose
This position is responsible to build customer relationships by traveling to customer locations, addressing concerns, and providing parts solutions
Responsibilities
Provides an excellent customer experience
Markets parts for the extensive line of products that Kern Machinery offers
Performs follow-up calls at customer locations
Addresses customer concerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily
Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer experience
Participates in product presentations at customer clinics, pre-Expo Meetings, John Deere Days, and meetings held outside the dealership
Provides limited technical support where applicable; acts as an advisor to help solve customer parts concerns
Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
Assists in other areas to keep the dealership clean and orderly
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
2+ years' experience in an agricultural or turf related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, training, or other related work
Experience creating positive relationships with customers and dealership personnel
Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processes
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
Experience working both independently and in a team setting
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's preferred
Ability to work extended hours and weekends
Clean driving record
