Coordinates and works with all those involved in guest services while on the club’s golf course. Monitors equipment, golf cart use, and driving range status. Directly interfaces with private club membership to ensure a great member experience.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required (or working towards high school degree)

Primary Job Duties
- Helps maintain the golf cart fleet by cleaning and parking used golf carts, maintaining proper golf car repair records, and ensuring proper operation.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness of bag room, cart barn areas, and first tee areas.
- Ensures that members and guests have an enjoyable day at the club when they visit by providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in driving range maintenance including restocking driving range balls, operating range picker, and ensuring range area is neat and in order.
- Oversees bagroom and all corresponding operations including pulling golf bags for members who have arrived at the course to play golf, and cleaning member golf clubs at the conclusion of their round.
- Reports any damaged, broken, or misused equipment to the Assistant Golf Professional as soon as possible; records the damage and by whom.
- Trains staff to recognize members not dressed properly for the use of course and practice area and relays the information to the Golf Pro Shop staff.
- Is alert to the weather or approaching inclement weather.
- Communicates with the outside service and Golf Pro Shop staff for any needs required by members and guests.
- Alerts the Assistant Golf Professional when members add or remove bags from club storage.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Sufficient stamina to tolerate hot, cold, humid, and rainy outdoor weather for several consecutive hours.
- Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Continuous standing and walking.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
