Base Salary: $65,000 + Uncapped Commission (1st year OTE $100k+; 2nd year OTE $125k+)

Our client, a leader in the generator service industry, seeks a sales rep to drive business growth within Hartford, CT, to Providence, RI region. You'll enjoy the balance of remote work and field visits with no overnight travel. Your primary goal is to secure and manage preventative maintenance Service Contracts, targeting key commercial entities like hospitals and universities. You'll tackle an exciting mix of new business acquisition and existing relationship nurturing, dealing with contracts ranging from $2k to $10k. Candidates with a mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Generators/ Power or HVAC equipment are highly valued, in addition to service sales or contract sales. Your success will be supported by thorough training and an internal sales team. Outside Generator Sales Representative (Service Contracts; 50% WFH) Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities
Develop and maintain existing relationships
Schedule meetings with prospects
Act as the main point of contact for customers
Generate and submit sales reports
Follow up on lost opportunities
Attend industry trade shows when needed
Work with sales team to meet customer needs
Adhere to company procedures around processes and documentation
Stay abreast on industry trends

Outside Generator Sales Representative (Service Contracts; 50% WFH) Qualifications
Contract sales or service sales experience required
CRM experience required
Driver’s license/reliable transportation required
Willingness to travel locally in designated territory required
