Our Library at Home department and team are truly unique. This team coordinates and implements library services for patrons who are homebound or in senior or assisted living facilities. The Outreach Specialist works on a team who respond to phone calls and emails from patrons or facility representatives concerning programs, book holds and reference questions.

This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, consisting of mostly daytime hours.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND two (2) year of customer service or library support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay is $16.75 per hour and up based on related and comparable work experience (expected to hire between $16.82 - $21.65 per hour based on experience)

Physical Demands
- Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment and stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; strength and coordination to load and unload materials from vehicles and maneuver book carts both indoor and outdoors; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
