Job Description
Wayside Recovery Center is seeking an Outreach & Data Entry Specialist. This person will collect client data using interview tools such as the NOMs, GPRA data, conduct trauma-informed phone and in-person interviews for Wayside clients, perform DATA ENTRY into state and federal databases, track client evaluation timelines, and assist the Evaluation Manager with reporting.
This position is hourly, full-time at 40 hours per week and offers a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Track multiple evaluation timelines for clients across sites and post discharge.
- Communicate and coordinate with staff to complete evaluations adhering to grant guidelines.
- Accurately enter and submit client data as required by each grant into the corresponding database.
- Audit data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Evaluation Manager to assist in grant reporting activities.
- Conduct trauma-informed client phone and in-person interviews at several intervals in client’s Wayside care experience.
- Work to collect NOMs, GPRA, and other consumer information from Wayside clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent communication customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and excellent computer skills essential.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects and be flexible.
- Ability to relate to women of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
- Must be able to pass DHS background study and meet applicable requirements and regulations.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with databases and entering data accurately and efficiently.
- Microsoft Office & Excel proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health science or related field preferred.
- Experience conducting interviews or focus groups preferred.
- Individual with lived experience with substance use disorder or mental health preferred.
- Experience working with SQL coding and/or report building preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to use a computer and phone for an extended period of time.
Compensation: $20-22/ per hour
