About Counseling Center of West Michigan:

Counseling Center of West Michigan was founded in 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan by a therapist who couldn’t find a suitable workplace in the area and felt there had to be a better option. After surveying over 200 private practice therapists, learning about their experiences in PP and their “wish list” for the ideal workplace, CCWM was born. Today, with 14 locations, CCWM is still a owner operated organization where therapists and their experience come before anything else. We believe that if we give you the support you need and deserve, if you're paid exceptionally well, and if you have the independence and autonomy to practice in a way that is unique to you, you will be a better therapist for it and our clients will greatly benefit.

Income Potential

Our full time therapists' (28 sessions per week) average income in 2022 was $113,000, with several therapists and counselors exceeding the $150,000 income level. Whether you see 2 clients a week or 45, your spilt is the same. We do not believe that pressure to produce is a healthy approach for therapists. Our generous split also does not translate into you having to give up anything. Everything is taken care of for you at CCWM so you can focus on your clients.

• Fee Splits are as follows:
• 55% for LLMSW, LLC, or DTLLP
• 70% for in person psychotherapy
• 75% for testing psychologists
• 80% for a fully licensed Telehealth only Therapists (who does not use any office space)

*Fee splits are not based on production and no corners are cut on in-office support

• Designated in-person support staff on site at every campus to serve you and your clients Monday-Friday 8-8 and Saturday’s 8-2
