Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Pmhnp)

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Utah to work in-office Outpatient services at our Draper office.

Service areas incorporate: Draper, ONSITE.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face to face Outpatient psychiatric services to patients at both the Draper office.
• Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
  

Job Types: Full-Time W2 Billable Hourly (1099 Independent Contractor available)

Requirements

• Licensed in Utah by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed by the Utah Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.

• Possession of a Utah State DEA.
• Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
• Malpractice Insurance.
• 1 year within psych setting.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 to $60.00 per Billable Hour (based on pay structure chosen and experience).
