Outpatient Occupational Therapist

Vista Physical Therapy is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist (CHT or Hand Focused) for an Outpatient Orthopedic clinic in Grand Prairie, TX.

We are an outpatient clinic providing a wide range of services, including post-operative, neck & spine rehabilitation, and hand therapy. We are looking for a therapist who has experience (or interest) in hand therapy and upper extremities (hands, wrists, elbows, and arms). CHT certification is not required but preferred. We offer individualized mentorship and development for those interested in becoming a Certified Hand Therapist.

Position Summary:

• Provide Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment to patients
• Create individualized care plans for each treatment
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize care
• Grow relationships with your staff and the community you support
• Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection
• Comply with all federal, state, and insurance-based rules and regulations
• Provide rehabilitation therapies for hands, wrists, elbows, and arms

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum approved by the licensing board.
• Experience in hand therapy/upper extremity
• CHT certification preferred, but not required
• Current State licensure for the practice of occupational therapy.
