Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

We're seeking a therapist to see child, adolescent, or adult clients for outpatient counseling. If you have a niche...great! If not, generalist providers looking to further refine their practice are also encouraged. Applicants should share our vision centered around equality and social justice, client care, and increased access to services. Ideal candidates seek to become part of a supportive team that enhances clinical and personal growth. Allies in Wellness is a grass-roots and mostly insurance-based private group practice.

We have a high priority for therapists specializing in gender and sexual minorities, adoptees and foster children, neurodiversity, school age children and adolescents.

This is true contract work - you decide how many clients you see, where, and when, consultation meetings are voluntary, and support is there when you need it. Allies in Wellness provides EHR, telehealth platform, referrals, marketing, credentialing, billing, and administrative support. We love what we do and we'd love you to join us! We have voluntary bi-weekly case consultation and an amazing team of dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable clinicians. Some members of our team also offer ongoing specialized training.

Requirements:

• Registered clinical social work, Mental Health counselor, or marriage and family therapy intern
• Minimum caseload of 10 clients seeing at least 5 per week, a portion of which are Medicaid clients
• Work in our Melbourne, FL office and through telehealth *please note: Due to our practice type we're not able to offer an entirely remote position. Unlicensed clinicians must live locally or travel to Brevard County.
• Professional liability insurance
• Knowledge of Medicaid compliant documentation a plus (training is available)
• Eagerness for continued education and development to be informed of evolving best clinical practices.
